Winners! Presents! Beaded Garments!

The Festival of Leo came to an abrupt halt when we all got sick.
I know.
So boring, so exhausting. Couldn't even haul myself out of bed to go to a movie on Sunday.
Here's a snap of me when I still had my health:
 I was channeling a lion's mane. Literally.
If you need a $10 bunch of supermarket flowers get to Woolies quick smart
My sister will be here soon and because she's my Decluttering Muse I took this lot to the Salvos.
What a relief. And because my life is Non Stop Glamour, I've also cleaned the microwave, the fridge, the pantry and all the kitchen cupboards and drawers. Am on what can only be described as Hardcore Decluttering Fire.
Even stuck all the kindy photos from 2012 and 2013 into this album:
Happy Birthday Madonna for last week. Nice frock.
And good work with the sequins Lauren
So last night I threw on these beaded garments:
And hotfooted it to Styling You's Book Launch for Unlock your Style.
It was at the Black Cat bookshop but that place'll always be Mary Ryan to me.
All the Big Names turned up.
And the winner of my Festival of Leo is Gloria who never wears sequins and whose late husband was a Leo. Congrats G, just leave a comment with your address and I'll post the 2 new season Red Phoenix necklaces and the last vestige of my youth to you. Thanks for commenting- luffed reading all of them.
I'm baking a cinnamon tea cake.
Nothing else to report except Silk's back on tonight. Goody. That Martha is the absolute Best.

  3. Looking very nice in the beaded garments! Best pic Madonna's taken in 20+ years. Classic pic of LB & Frank. The Den gives your lion's mane high marks....however the exchange rate gets you to 11/10.

  4. I'm interested to hear if your son is interested in tea parties? My grandson threw me one today (he is five) and to make it extra special he put some of his pennies into the cup before the faux tea (faucet water from the bathroom) doesn't get any better than that.

  18. You look gorgeous even when you're sick ! How do you care for all your sequin products ? Do you dry-clean or wash them by hand or does Consuela take care of that ? Your outfits always look brand new so I'm curious .. You must be dazzled by the glitter when you open your wardrobe ! Take care ! A fresh start (ex Silver Bunny). xxxxx

  21. I’ve had the dreaded lurgy too. Was so weak that I didn’t have the energy to replace the doona cover after stripping the bed. Coming good today though. Glad you are back -missed your updates. Love the tasselled necklace. I have similar in coral colour with an aqua stone. Must find me some sequinned something soon. Tonkath x

  23. Dear FF
Just back from Sydney. Poured almost the whole time - torrential too. But still had wonderful time with family and our dear girls.
So sorry to read you've been unwell! Have heard there's a lot of flu about. Do you have flu needles in early autumn? They can really help - and though doctors usually only recommend them for older folk and those with fragile health - you don't need to fit these profiles to have a flu shot. Doctors just say that because they don't want to lose all the business they get from flu patients in winter - I know this because one of my friends is a GP and she told me. Also the Frequent Flyer immune booster tablets you dissolve in water can be v helpful if you've been exposed to anyone with a cold or flu. But you need to get in quickly with them. Get well soon!!
Bought a zebra-pegase!! Love it! Plan on bringing to Adelaide! Pammie xxx
